Number of players: Maximum 7 players. Meet at Court 3. Playing level: This coaching/training session is suitable for players of all levels (including beginners or advanced players) as training will be adapted to them accordingly. The aim is to help players who would like to improve their game play or learn the right techniques. The session is split into 60-70 mins coaching/training/drills and 50-60 mins games. The session will focus on three main aspects of badminton, i.e. hitting, footwork and tactics. Players are expected to help coaches with collecting and clearing up shuttlecocks during and after training. Direction: Don't come too early as you will not be allowed into the building. Don't use the normal school entrance. Instead, please use the Secondary Phase Entrance, Hendon Road, shown in the picture here. Parking: Parking is available outside the school but is not free (metered parking, £5 for 2 hours). Parking inside the school is not available. For free parking, use off-street parking at School Bank Road (SE10 0DS) or Millennium Leisure Park (free for up to 5 hours) (SE10 0QJ) (near B&Q/IKEA) and walk/take a bus from there. Session fee: £22 per person, payable in advance via Stripe upon booking (this includes processing fee). Please use UK debit card only to pay. Don't use Revolut, AMEX or overseas account as they charge excessive processing fee which you will have to reimburse the club for. Booking policies: There is no waiting list. All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless if the club is unable to run a session due to issues beyond its control, in which case players will be offered a replacement session. If you cannot attend anymore after booking, please remove your place by clicking 'Edit RSVP' and changing RSVP to 'Not going', or you will be counted as a no-show. No-show will be banned. We appreciate that the club booking policies may be different from other clubs and things could change beyond control (due to injury, illness or transport issues), but unfortunately the club doesn't have resources to manage individual demands or changing circumstances. Keep it simple. Please book only when you are certain or willing to bear the risk of your own changes if you wish to book well in advance to secure your place. Feather shuttlecocks will be provided. Please look after shuttlecocks and avoid excessive use. Before serving, please always smooth any ruffled feathers. By joining this event, you grant LCWBC permission to take videos or images and to use them in any media including, without limitation, in printed publications, presentations, promotional material or online, in their original format or edited or altered in any way.
